Hongik University area is the epicenter of Seoul's nightlife. Dense clusters of clubs, live music venues, craft beer bars, and street performers pack into a few city blocks. The energy builds from 10PM and peaks around 2โ4AM.

๐ Itaewon โ International Bars
Itaewon's bar scene is the most diverse in Seoul. Craft beer, cocktail lounges, sports bars, dive bars โ all within walking distance. The Gyeongridan-gil (Gyeridan) area nearby is more local and hip, with excellent cocktail bars and wine spots.

If you want glam, Gangnam delivers. Apgujeong and Cheongdam are full of luxury lounges, celebrity-frequented venues, and the kind of nightclubs that appear on "world's best" lists.

Find them: Coin norebang (cheaper, no time limit per song), regular norebang, luxury norebang. Every neighborhood has them.
๐ฎ Pojangmacha โ Street Tent Bars
The most authentic late-night Seoul experience. An orange tent, plastic stools, fried snacks, and cheap soju. Pull up a stool, order somaek (soju + beer), and watch Seoul go by until 3AM. Found near major subway exits, Han River, and university areas.
Getting Home Late

- Kakao T Taxi โ App-based, safe, easy. Late-night surcharge of 20% applies midnightโ4AM.
- Jungbu (call taxi) โ Ask any convenience store to call one. Speak your destination clearly.
